FCS Gingerbread Houses

December 22, 2011

Christmas spirit was in the air as the smell of gingerbread filled the halls of Centennial.  The students in FCS (Family and Consumer Science) used their baking knowledge and creativity to create gingerbread houses.  From gummy bears and sour patch kids to licorice and peppermint candies, little, edible houses were made to create a gingerbread village.  Three days of rolling, baking and using frosting as glue, the hard work paid off as the students were able to take home their tasty creations to share with their family and eat them too!  Happy Holidays from FCS!
