Kindergarten and High School Art Students Explore Color

The Kindergarten reading groups have been studying color and were invited to Mrs. Cummins’ art class to experience color mixing in an unusual way. The Kindergarten classes learned the difference between warm and cool colors, they had the opportunity to pick colors that were poured on a spinning pottery wheel to form unique and one of a kind works of art.  Each child was excited to be assisted by the high school art students.  What the kindergarten didn’t realize was the high school students enjoyed it just as much!  The next day the senior high art classes matted the works and delivered them to pleased Kindergarten students.
