Centennial FBLA Attends SLC in Omaha

The Centennial FBLA Chapter recently attended the 2010 State Leadership Conference in Omaha. The conference takes place at the Holiday Inn Convention Center each year. Our Centennial chapter took 19 students to the FBLA conference. At the first General Session, the Centennial chapter was awarded ribbons for their participation in the Sweepstakes award and for donating to the FBLA Foundation. Aside from competing in various tests, members also went to sessions, listened to keynote speakers, and helped fellow member, Kay Kolts, campaign for a state office. High notes of the SLC were junior Becky Brauer receiving an Honorable Mention in Marketing and freshman Dalton Dey placing 5th in Business Math. Overall, the Conference was a success, and the chapter is already planning for another fun and busy year.
