FFA Competes in District Career Development

On March 2nd, the Centennial FFA competed in District Career Development Events at Beatrice. Many of the members participated and the chapter was pleased with the results. State Qualifiers: Meats Evaluation team- Angela Naber, Jessica Tonniges, Kayla Crowder, and Kyle Sheehan. Floral Design team- Tiffany Heine, Rachel Rathjen, Cassidy Leif, and Lacey Naber. Ag Mechanics team- Aarik Naber, Ethan Heser, Josh Brahmsteadt, and Braylon Gierhan. Welding team 1- Dylan Granski, Eric Naber, Josh Mooney. Welding team 2- Aarik Naber, Ethan Heser, and Colton Luettel. Agriscience team- Erik Sayer, Bryant Gierhan, Aaron DeWaard, and Elizabeth Cast. Alternates to state include John Tonniges, Angela Naber, Kayla Crowder, Logan Kment, and Jessica Tonniges for the Livestock Management team, and two teams of Jr Livestock Judging consisting of Logan Kment, Lucas Gruber, Bryant Gierhan, Kelsey Chirsman, Elizabeth Cast, Trevor Slawnyk, Easton Eikenhorst, Kaylee Chrisman, Kendall Gierhan, Eric Weimer, and Keaton Kucera.
There were also many individuals who were recognized. People who received 1st individually were Angela Naber and Tiffany Heine. 2nd place individual was Jessica Tonniges. 3rd place individuals were Kayla Crowder and Rachel Rathjen. Congratulations to everyone!
