Broncos 1st and 2nd at ESU 6 Quiz Bowl

Centennial Junior High School competed at a regional quiz bowl hosted by Educational Service Unit 6 (ESU 6) on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. The 4th Annual ESU 6 Junior High Academic Quiz Bowl was held at the Seward Civic Center in Seward, Nebraska. Approximately 165 students from grades 7-9 participated on one of 33 teams from 18 area schools. Centennial Junior High School placed 1st in the competition. Team members include Dacee Dey, Dalton Dey, Anna Christine Vavra, and Ann Wilton. The team is sponsored by Mr. Jeff Johnson.
Centennial Senior High School competed at a regional quiz bowl hosted by Educational Service Unit 6 (ESU 6) on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. The 14th Annual ESU 6 Senior High Academic Quiz Bowl was held at the Seward Civic Center in Seward, Nebraska. Approximately 170 students from grades 9-12 participated on one of 34 teams from 19 area high schools. The competition was divided into two divisions based on school size. Centennial High School placed 2nd in their division. Team members include Jacob Anderson, Kari Kolts, Sam Wilton, and Emily Hemphill. The team is sponsored by Mr. Jeff Johnson.
