High School: In the Classroom

Art III Seniors Paint Mural

January 25, 2009

During the first quarter, the seniors in Mrs. Heser's ART III class were asked to come up with a mural for the wall that used to be the main entrance into the high school.  This is a temporary wall that will be removed when the new auditorium addition is complete, but Mr. DeWaard and Mr. Davis wanted something that the kids could come up with as a mural.

Senior, Morgan Beckler met the challenge and went to work on the design and verse along with the support and skills of co-seniors: Lacey Boaz, Kerra Grantski, Jherika Russell and Kody Stutzman.  They assisted her with the drawing and painting.  The verse reads, " We have taken the ceiling off our dreams...there is no dream too big."  The kids had a super time with this project and it is always great to see what our student can achieve.

Thanks to these seniors for their talent and for making a plain wall into a work of art!
