Auditorium Construction Progressing
Doors to open in mid to late April
December 10, 2008
Construction on the Centennial Performing Arts Center (Auditorium) is moving along despite the winter weather. Driving by the school, you may have noticed the nice brickwork that was completed on the South and East walls of the auditorium. This same brick is being laid on East side of the offices, the pillars inside the commons area, and the utility area on the North side of the Auditorium. The plastic wrap on the outside of the building is needed to keep heat inside the work
area until it is framed in with windows and doors. The concrete for the flooring of the office, hall, and commons areas was poured on Monday of this week. Many other phases of the project are underway inside the walls of structure. Take a look at the pictures of progress from this fall.
Here are some visualizations of what the interior of the building will look like upon completion (colors and some other details may vary).
Students, staff, and patrons are excited about the addition and await its completion!
