New Underage Drinking Laws that affect youth and parents

PIZZA WILL BE PROVIDED FOR FREE

New laws have recently been passed that affect youth and parents regarding underage drinking. A presentation about these laws will be given by a representative from the Nebraska Attorney Generals Office.  Representatives from the Seward Sheriff’s office and Blue Valley Behavioral Health will give short presentations on substance abuse issues facing youth in the Seward area. A question and answer session will follow for participants to ask questions. For more information contact: Seward County Bridges at 643-2608. Funding provided by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administrations (US Dept. of Health and Human Services), Region V Systems and the Nebraska Crime Commission. Partners include: Seward County Bridges, UN-L Extension in Seward County, Seward County Pretrial Diversion, Seward County CASA, Four Corners Health Dept., Blue Valley Behavioral Health, Centennial Public Schools, MADD, Seward County Attorney, Nebraska Attorney General, and Seward County Independent.
