Broncos Second in SNC

The Southern Nebraska Conference was played this past weekend in Utica. Thursday night the Lady Broncos defeated David City and Fillmore Central to put them in the Semi Finals against Milford.
The Lady Broncos faced Milford and had a tough game with seven errors and letting Milford win 3-0. After dropping to the losers bracket the Broncos played David City who knocked off Fillmore Central.
The Broncos had a tough game against David City with a 10-9 win. “This was one crazy game. We could have easily laid down and lost this game, but we fought back from a three run deficit and got a win over a hot David City team.” Coach Cody Huisman said.
The Lady Broncos then had to face the Lady Eagles one more time in the championship game. The Broncos played tough but came up short with a 3-1 loss to finish second place in the SNC tournament. “I felt the girls really played well. They just got the best of us again.” Coach Huisman stated.
