Elks National Foundation 2008 Most Valuable Student Scholarship
This scholarship is based on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Any high school senior who is a US citizen is eligible. Male and female students compete separately for identical awards. The application does include a reference letter from a high school teacher, and the applicant completing a 500-word essay. Students are unable to apply for both the Elks Most Valuable Scholarship and the Elks Vocational Scholarship. Applications can be picked up in the guidance office. Deadline is January 11, 2008.
Nebraska Elks Association Vocational Scholarship Grant
These grants are open to high school seniors that plan to attend a Trade School, Technical School or Community College. Students are unable to submit applications to both the Vocational Scholarship and the Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship. Applications can be picked up in the guidance office. Deadline is January 10, 2008.
