Welcome to 5th grade band!   Use the buttons on the left to navigate to the different instrument families used in band: woodwind, brass, and percussion.  Use the link buttons on each page to find out more about the instruments in each family, famous musicians who play them, play games, watch videos and hear music. Concert band and Jazz band are two groups that use a variety of band instruments, but play different kids of music.  The concert band and jazz band buttons to the left will lead you to links illustrating many exciting components of each type of band.  You can learn about famous composers with games, watch videos and hear examples.
